Jupiter Overtakes Saturn triptych, 2023

The Jupiter Overtakes Saturn triptych is a three-piece mixed media artwork made in 2023 for the XIV Florence Biennale.

This piece reflects on my life and artistic voice over the past 20 years and signifies the end of one chapter and the beginning of the next stage in my work. It consists of three separate pieces: Approach, Conjunction, and Transcendence.

Materials: inkjet print, acrylic paint, gouache, chiyogami, and washi paper on board.
